In the UK, the law rules that front windscreens and front side windows depend on when the vehicle was first used. If the vehicle was first used on April 1, 1985, then the required percentage of the darkness of the tint should be at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through.
For cars that are first used before April 1, 1985, the front windscreen and front side windows must both let at least 70% of light through.
We advise that your side windows are kept up for 36 hours and that your windows should be completely dry within a week. Full curing can take 30 days.
Yes, sharp objects such as rings and seat belt buckles could damage the film in some cases (much the same as glass).

Depending on the type of film installation and type of car anything from couple of hours up to a whole day depending on your vehicle.
Window film is applied to the inside surface so your car can be washed and cleaned on the outside as normal. The inside of the window can be cleaned with normal window cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid any abrasive products that may scratch the film.
