Insurance Company, It is important that you advise your insurance company that you have had your vehicle part/fully wrapped. This way should you be in the unfortunate position of having an accident or need to claim on your insurance company then they are aware of the costs and materials that will need to be replaced.

The DVLA should only be contacted should the car be a permanent colour change. As vehicle wraps are temporary there is no need to advise them of your wrap.

Police, As part of the police’s vehicle database, your car registration is linked to the make, model and colour of your vehicle. If the police do a registration number check they may stop you and ask questions regarding the colour. It is very easy to demonstrate that the vinyl is temporary and not the true colour.

Yes. The vehicle wrapping films we use are specifically designed for vehicle wrapping and can be easily removed within 5 years of the wrap being installed.

If you have booked a vehicle in and paid a deposit, you may only change your date for wrapping if you provide notice (via Telephone) at least 3 working days prior to your fitting date . We reserve the right to not refund your deposit if you fail to turn up or provide insufficient notice time.

We recommend that you wash your car with products which are suitable for vinyl or wrapped vehicle finishes, These products are available to purchase from Lussivo , and can be used either by hand wash or using a jet wash. We advise against automatic car washes, as they may cause damage to the wrapping film. Always take care when using chemicals or detergents to clean your car.

During the application process, our technicians are careful not to damage the paintwork of your vehicle. The vinly films that we use are specifically designed for vehicle wrapping and will not directly damage the car’s paintwork, however you do need to ensure that your vehicle’s paintwork is of a good standard and/or OEM quality.

We recommend that the re-sprayed paintwork be left for a minimum of four weeks to cure and harden before any vinyl wrapping or graphics are applied. If the vinyl is applied within this four week period then there is a risk that the paint could lift when the vinyl is removed at a later point.
